Invest in your future and add to your current building and construction skills! By enrolling in the Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funded Short Courses program, you open the door to future job opportunities and skills development.

The CSQ Short Courses program assists with upskilling and cross skilling existing workers in the building and construction industry and can involve a combination of face-to-face training and supported online learning. You will walk away with skills and experience that are in demand by the industry.

Australian Trade Training College (ATTC) is contracted to deliver the CSQ Short Courses program in the Brisbane North, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast regions. ATTC can deliver the following units of competency funded by the CSQ Short Courses program:



Students may choose a maximum of three units during the Short Courses funding period (1st October 2016 – 30th September 2017)

CSQ is an independent industry funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers in the building and construction industry.

CSQ Short Courses Program

To be eligible to enrol in the short course program, participants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia or a refugee and humanitarian visa holder; and must permanently reside in Queensland or be permanently employed in Queensland as a current employee or eligible worker in the Building and Construction industry.

Definitions

An existing worker is a current employee in the building and construction industry who has a one month or more employment relationship with their employer. The working relationship can be built up through full-time, part-time or casual employment or engagement as a contract worker

An eligible worker has the same meaning as the Building and Construction industry (portable long services leave) Act 1991 (QLD) as amended from time to time.
